“COME WHAT MAY”

Dress rehearsal:  Wednesday, June 15th, 4:30 - 9:30 pm.  Dress rehearsal is mandatory for all students dancing in our recital.  We will also be taking recital pictures on this day.  Dancers will be given a picture envelope for each dance they are in.  Picture forms went out last month.  Please fill them out in advance if you intend to order pictures.  We are taking opening number pictures this year, too!  Please come dressed in your first costume with photo envelope filled out - ready to go. We will be going in the order of our show, so once your dancer is done with their photos and rehearsal, they may leave. They do not have to stay for the entire time. Dress rehearsal will be held at Elk Grove High School. Dress rehearsal is a closed rehearsal.  One parent per dancer can come to assist with changes, however we appreciate minimal distractions.  Please be respectful and quiet!  For dancers that have not had the opportunity to dance on a real stage, this will be a new experience!

On Thursday, June 16th, we will have two back to back shows! One at 5:00 pm and one at 7:30 pm.  We know this is late for the little ones and we try to accommodate by putting them earlier in the show. We will be recording our first show of the evening and DVD’s will be available to order.

Tights and shoes:  A list went out with what tights and shoes are needed for each recital class.  If you do not have the correct tights, it will be extremely noticeable.  We use Classic Pink for ballet classes and Dark Tan for all other classes.  Please note, these are Revolution brand tights that we sell at the studio.  Also, please take this time to label all costumes and make sure you have all hairpieces or accessories.  We do request all dancers wear a bun in their hair for dress rehearsal and recital.

Tickets are going fast!  Please see Denise in the office to purchase.  Tickets are $20 cash only, please.

Summer schedule is up!  Registration starts now - so please take a look at our website.  We have some great new teachers (also alumni).  Summer is a perfect time to focus on technique, quality of movement, and brush up on any skills you’re trying to accomplish.  This is also the perfect time to try a new class.
