Kiddie Movement - Ages 3-4
In this class, children will do fun exercises like skipping, jumping, spinning, stretching, and dancing to music.  We use props and sing-a-long songs to enhance the learning experience.  We ask that students come in comfortable clothes that are easy to move in; they should bring Tap and Ballet shoes.  This class will result in a performance in our annual recital in either Ballet or Tap (not both).

Kiddie Combo - Ages 5-6
​These classes will consist of thirty minutes of Ballet class and thirty minutes of Tap class.  Children will learn basic elements of both dance forms and will result in a performance in our annual recital in either Ballet or Tap (not both).  We ask that students come in comfortable clothes that are easy to move in, but we prefer leotards and tights.  We suggest that kids bring both Ballet and Tap shoes.

Slashie Classes - Ages 7-9
​We offer our Slashie classes as an intermediate level between our Kiddie classes and a Level One class.  These classes are great introductions to our full hour-long classes for an age group that deserves special attention.  Each class will consist of thirty minutes of two different styles, Ballet/Tap and Hip Hop/Jazz.  Slashie students should come dressed appropriately for their particular class's style which may include leotards, tights, dance pants, and proper shoes.

We offer Tap classes in levels one through five, ages nine and up, and adult classes.  In our Tap classes students will learn warm-ups, Tap technique, terminology, and a variety of combinations.  All Tap classes will result in a performance in our annual recital. 

Tap dress code is a bit more flexible and includes any dance clothes you can easily move in.  NO JEANS PLEASE!!!  Certain teachers may have different policies regarding hair, jewelry, and clothing.  Please be respectful to each teacher.  Tap shoes are required for all students, preferably in black.​

We offer Pointe technique classes for Ballet level four, ages thirteen and up.  During this class, students will focus on Ballet and Pointe technique including strengthening exercises, barre work, center technique, and a variety of combinations.  Only those students ready for Pointe will be able to attend this class.  Private or class evaluations are available.  Pre-pointe classes are suggested prior to Pointe.  Pointe classes will result in a performance in our annual recital.  Ballet dress code is required.

We offer Contemporary classes in levels two through five, ages nine and up.  We begin at level two because dancers need at least one year with Ballet and Jazz before joining this class.  Contemporary classes will consist of warm-ups, technique, and a variety of combinations.  Classes will result in a performance in our annual recital.

​Dress code for Contemporary includes Ballet basics with layers.  Students may wear Ballet shorts/skirts, Jazz capris, and fitted tees or tanks.  Certain teachers may have different policies regarding hair, jewelry, and clothing.  Please be respectful to each teacher.  Students are encouraged to go barefoot in these classes, however they may wear "foot-undies" or "foot-paws."

We offer Hip Hop classes in levels one through five, ages nine and up.  Our Hip Hop classes consist of warm-ups and across-the-floor exercises as well as a variety of combinations and urban dance moves.  All Hip Hop classes will result in a performance in our annual recital.

​Hip Hop dress code includes comfortable clothes that are easy to move in.  NO JEANS PLEASE!!!  Certain teachers may have different policies regarding hair, jewelry, and clothing.  Please be respectful to each teacher.  Hip Hop shoes or gym shoes may be worn to class, but only CLEAN gym shoes please. 

Kiddie Classes

We offer Lyrical classes in levels two through five, ages nine and up.  We begin this at level two because dancers need at least one year with Ballet experience before joining this class.  Lyrical classes will consist of warm-ups, technique, and combinations with strong Ballet and Jazz undertones.  All Lyrical classes will result in a performance in our annual recital.  Students must be enrolled in a ballet class in conjunction with this class.

​ Dress code for Lyrical includes Ballet basics (Leotard and Tights) with layers.  Ballet shorts, Ballet skirts, Jazz capris, and fitted tees or tanks may be worn with permission from the teacher.  Certain teachers may have different policies regarding hair, jewelry, and clothing.  Please be respectful to each teacher.  For Lyrical, students may wear any type of Lyrical shoe, soft Jazz shoe, or Ballet shoe.  Students may go barefoot if comfortable.

We offer Ballet classes in levels one through five, ages nine and up.  In our Ballet classes we will teach barre exercises, warm-ups, center stretches and technique, across-the-floor progressions, and multiple combinations.  In addition to Ballet technique, students will learn Ballet terminology to enhance their knowledge and appreciation of Ballet.  We strongly recommend that every student take a Ballet class as it is the foundation of all dance.  All Ballet classes will result in a performance in our annual recital.

Ballet dress code includes tights, a leotard, and pink ballet shoes.  Ballet shorts and skirts are permitted and other clothes or warm-ups may be worn with the permission of the teacher.  Hair must be kept off the face, preferably in a bun with bangs secured.  Please remove all distracting jewelry prior to class.

We offer Jazz classes in levels one through five, ages nine and up.  Jazz classes will consist of a warm-up, technique, across-the-floor exercises, and a variety of combinations.  All Jazz classes will result in a performance in our annual recital.

Jazz dress code includes basic Ballet attire with layers.  This may include leotards, tank tops, fitted tee shirts, tights, shorts, dance capris, and Jazz pants.  Certain teachers may have different policies regarding hair, jewelry, and clothing.  Please be respectful to each teacher.  Soft jazz shoes in black are preferred.

​All dance instruction classes are $15 per class ($60 per month), payable monthly.  Tuition is due the first of the month and is subject to a late fee.  We offer the convenient option of recurring payments.  Please ask Denise for details.
