auditions 2016-2017

All dancers are required to take Ballet, Jazz, and Lyrical/Contemporary in addition to CCT practice.  (A total of 3 classes per week in addition to competition).  Your dancer becomes more versatile, better conditioned, and overall a more intuitive dancer the more classes they take.  These are all extremely important characteristics in competition and performance dance.

CCT will now be our premier performance group!  Cimino Dance Studio offers a fun, friendly, competitive team to dancers ages 9 and up.  We compete with a Jazz and Contemporary routine at 3 competitions throughout the season as well as perform in our annual dance recital.  Dancers can audition for solos and/or duets.  We will also be taking this group of dancers to community performances! 

Cimino competitive team (CCT)

Auditions for our 2016-2017 season are Saturday, October 29th from 1-2pm.  Dancers should come prepared to dance and in proper attire.  Please bring jazz shoes and footpaws/lyrical sandals.  We will discuss scheduling and competition dates at the end of the audition, so we ask that parents be present.  

Practice Schedules TBA - Practices will depend on the dancers auditioning.  Missing rehearsals should be avoided with the exception of studio closings or performance conflicts.

Fees are for instruction/choreography per year.  Fees do not include costumes, competition entries, apparel, travel, etc.
